Outer waters from 150 nm to 250 nm offshore. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Another low pressure over the outer waters of the southern California waters will move E today and merge with the low pressure near the coast. A cold front will move E across the N and central waters later Fri into Fri night. Another stronger cold front will approach the N and central waters Sat, then move through the area Sat night into Sun night while weakening. The front will cross into the southern waters Mon and pass E of the waters Mon night. A high pressure ridge will build into the NW waters today, move SE over the central and southern waters tonight into Sun, then dissipate Sun night.
