FZNT22 KWBC 210919 CCA OFFNT2 Offshore Waters Forecast...CORRECTED NWS Ocean Prediction Center Washington DC 419 AM EST Thu Feb 21 2019 West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. ANZ899-212030- 419 AM EST Thu Feb 21 2019 .SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure along the E areas of the waters will shift E of the region this morning. Low pressure near the New Jersey coast early this morning will strengthen as it moves NE along the coast and pass NE of the area later this morning while pulling a cold front SE over the area. The cold front will reach the southern waters tonight, stall Fri and Fri night, then lift N across the area as a warm front Sat into Sat night as a developing low forms near the coast along the front. Another high pressure will build SE over the N portion Fri night and early Sat, then shift E of the area by Sat night. Intensifying low pressure will pass N of the region Sun and Sun night while pulling an associated strong cold front SE across the area.
